The WEDC team

The WEDC team is multi-disciplinary, comprising academic, professional and support staff. In addition, we call on the services of associates with specialist expertise who work regularly with us.

We have extensive experience of low- and middle-income countries, facing challenges with solutions that have been proven to work. We update our work continually by new assignments. Many of us have worked professionally in developing countries for government departments, local government, international agencies, non-governmental organizations, and consultants.

Anne has 18 years of international management experience, developing business, leading teams and managing projects for both the public and private sectors. Currently she is working for the UK Department For International Development (DFID) as the Project Manager for SPLASH. SPLASH seeks to improve coordination of European funded research in water and sanitation for development, with a geographic focus in Africa and the Mekong.

Anne takes a lead role in the organisation of the WEDC conference and is an Executive MBA student at the University of Nottingham.

Before joining WEDC, Anne spent 6 years based in Brussels, leading and managing the internationally funded projects division of a multi national consulting firm, predominantly active in Asia and Central Europe.
